The Showroom

Down the road from where we are at the University of Lincoln, a new activity centre is opening: entitled the showroom (because it used to be a car showroom) the new facility, primarily organised and run by the YMCA, will boast a brand new climbing wall, cafes, a recording studio, a salon, sports facilities and much more.

Pip and I paid a visit to the Lincolnshire YMCA HQ in Lincoln and spoke to Lindsay Hannam  and Dean Reid about the project.

I’d actually never heard about the project before and it actually looks pretty gosh darn sweet. It’s a little bit out-of-town for some people but if you’re willing to make the journey you’re sure to be impressed at what has been set up here. Check out www.theshowroom.org.uk for more information.

The centre is due to open on March 1st 2011.
